I woke up Thursday morning to quite a surprise. We had expected perhaps a little snow overnight, but instead were blasted with an unusually wet and heavy spring storm.
Utah is a delightful place to live! The roads can be a little treacherous, and sometimes these storms come at inconvenient times. But there is nothing like the beauty of the trees, mountains, and sky after one of these wonderful storms. And of course, we're very grateful for the late-season "moisture" to help our water conditions in the coming summer.

Uh, yeah. That looks FUN. I wish WE would get snow on the last day of April. Except, of course, for the fact that it might harm our thriving tomato plants, snuff out the perfume of orange blossoms, and make a trip to the beach a bit tricky.
"To every thing there is a season..." - and I love our season of snow. There will be plenty of time for tomatoes, lilacs and mountain hikes.
Talk to me again later this summer when you have 110 degrees, smog, and wildfires.
